China - Quality Management
My current project is the quality assurance of the manufacture of reinforced concrete sleepers at five concrete factories in China.
The Chinese Ministry of Transport is building 1000 kilometres of high-speed rail track. For this assignment five concrete factories have been built along the route with the know-how contract of a German company.
My first task was to start the factory (Lot 2), both mechanically and technically.
Furthermore it is my job to implement the European standards in all factories.
Technical concrete problems regarding the optimisation possibilities, along with inspection of incoming goods and implementation of the quality management are also part of my job description.
One of the objectives is to train the partners to fulfil the necessary high requirements of a high-speed rail track, but primarily also to offer my client a perfect quality management.
